If the marginal propensity to consume is 0.75, what is the simple spending multiplier?

GUIDE
About the AP Macroeconomics exam and how to study with examplat
About AP Macroeconomics
AP Macroeconomics is a College Board course and exam that covers the performance of an economy as a whole. The units are basic economic concepts, economic indicators and the business cycle, national income and price determination, the financial sector, long-run consequences of stabilization policies, and open economy: international trade and finance. The exam is held each May and is scored from 1 to 5.
The exam has a 70-minute multiple-choice section with 60 questions and a free-response section with three questions. Check AP Central for the current course and exam description, exam dates and scoring.
How to study the question types
Draw the graph before you read the choices: aggregate demand and supply, the money market, the loanable funds market and the Phillips curve each have a standard shift to check. State the direction of each change (price level, real output, unemployment, interest rate) in order, and then match it to a choice.
For calculation questions, write down the formula (multiplier, real interest rate, percentage change, GDP components) and keep the units. Many wrong choices are the right numbers used in the wrong formula.
How to use examplat for AP Macroeconomics
examplat holds more than 1,000 original multiple-choice questions organised by unit and topic of the course and exam description, each with an explanation and links to College Board materials and open textbooks. Most questions have five choices, as in the exam, and some have four. Choose a unit, practise in short sessions, and review the wrong answers together.
examplat covers multiple-choice practice only: it does not mark free-response answers, and it has no study notes or interactive figures for this exam. Use your textbook and the free-response questions released by the College Board alongside it.
