ノーマライゼーションの考え方として、正しいものはどれですか。
The Basic Act for Persons with Disabilities says that all persons with disabilities should, as far as possible, have the chance to choose where and with whom they live, and should not be prevented from living together with others in the community. Normalisation is linked to this idea of living together.
Why each option is right or wrong
- Incorrect. Limiting life to inside a facility goes against the idea of living together in the community.
- Incorrect. When other people decide the person's life, the person loses the chance to choose where to live. The person's own choice matters.
- Correct. This is the idea that people with disabilities can also live in the community together with others.
- Incorrect. Keeping living places apart prevents living together in the community. The aim is a society where people live together.

About the test
The Long-term Care Specified Skilled Worker Skill Evaluation Test (formerly called the Nursing Care Skills Evaluation Test) is one of the tests you pass to work in nursing care in Japan as a Specified Skilled Worker (i). It is made by the Ministry of Health, Labour and Welfare and taken on a computer at a test centre, in principle every month. You also need the Japanese test for nursing care and a Japanese-language test (JFT-Basic or JLPT N4 or higher).
The test has 45 questions in 60 minutes: 40 written questions (Basics of Nursing Care 10, Mind and Body 6, Communication 4, Life Support Skills 20) and 5 practical-judgement questions. From 1 April 2026 the pass mark is 60% of the total score. The test is taken in the language of the country where it is held. Check the Ministry's website for the latest information before you book.
How the questions on examplat work
Each question is shown in easy Japanese with furigana, with a translation in your language below it. You can switch between Japanese + your language, Japanese only, and your language only, so you can practise in the language of your test and also learn the Japanese words used at work. The translations of the questions, explanations and hints are AI translations of what we wrote in Japanese, so they may use different words from the real test.
Every answer is checked against public sources such as Japanese laws and guides from the Ministry of Health, Labour and Welfare, and each explanation shows its source.
Practical-judgement questions
In the real test, the practical questions show photos and ask you to choose the right care steps. examplat describes the situation in words instead, for example how to help a person move from a bed to a wheelchair, or what to do first when you find a person who has fallen.
How to study with examplat
Start with the 3 free questions. Then practise one subject at a time in short daily sessions on your phone. Life Support Skills is almost half of the test, so spend more time there. Wrong answers and questions you answered with hints are saved, so you can re-solve them before the test.
