- Description of Products
- Digital content consisting of unofficial question banks for qualifications and examinations (questions, explanations, study notes and interactive figures), to which customers subscribe on an examination-by-examination basis. All of the questions, explanations and study notes included were created independently by the Company. They are not reproductions of past examination questions, nor have they been created, supervised or approved by the bodies administering the respective examinations.
- Sales Price
- Billing currency: the 21 examinations outside Japan (listed under "International exams" in the exam list on the top page) are billed in U.S. dollars. The 27 examinations in Japan are billed in Japanese yen when you apply from the Japanese-language screens, and in U.S. dollars (the same amounts as the "U.S. dollars (standard prices)" table below) when you apply from screens in any other language. Regional prices: for applications from India, Pakistan, Bangladesh, Nepal, Viet Nam, the Philippines, Indonesia and Nigeria (the country is determined by the Company's server from the connection at the time of application), the 21 examinations outside Japan are charged at the amounts in the "U.S. dollars (regional prices)" table below. The examinations in Japan are not eligible for regional prices. A change of plan or payment period for an existing subscription is calculated at the same prices (standard or regional) as that subscription.Launch offer (20% off in total when you stay for 2 months): if you sign up for monthly billing in Japanese yen by 31 December 2026 (Japan time), the first month is charged at the monthly amount in the table and only the second month is charged at 40% off (equal in total to 20% off two months). The regular amount applies from the third month. If you cancel after the first month, you pay only the first month and no further amount is charged. Half-yearly payment, annual payment and payment in U.S. dollars are not eligible. Referral reward: if a friend creates a new account from your own referral link, you get 50% off the first month of the next monthly subscription you newly apply for (once only; both Japanese yen and U.S. dollars are eligible; half-yearly and annual payment are not eligible, and it cannot be combined with the launch offer; the referred friend pays the amounts in the table). New-account offer: if you start a monthly subscription application (proceed to the payment screen) within 10 minutes of creating your account, you get 50% off the first month (once only; not available if you have had a paid subscription before; both Japanese yen and U.S. dollars are eligible; half-yearly and annual payment are not eligible, and it cannot be combined with the launch offer; if you also have a referral reward, the new-account offer is used first and the referral reward can be used on your next monthly application). The price is a fee (tax included) for each examination and each plan. You may choose monthly payment, half-yearly payment (six months paid at once; approximately 10% less than six months of monthly payment) or annual payment (twelve months paid at once; approximately 20% less than twelve months of monthly payment). The amount and currency of payment are displayed on the application screen.

The amounts for half-yearly payment and annual payment are the amounts of a single payment. Amounts displayed in other currencies for reference are not the amounts charged.
Fees for corporate plans are determined by individual quotation.
Speaking Unlimited option (IELTS Academic): US$24 per month, renewed monthly; it can be added by customers with an active IELTS Academic subscription. For cards billed in currencies other than U.S. dollars, the amount is converted at the exchange rate at the time of payment. One month's fee is charged when you add the option, and thereafter it is charged automatically on the same day each month. Even with "unlimited" use, a cap of 30 sessions per day applies for fair use. You may cancel at any time (from the practice screen), and the option remains available until the end of the paid period. No refunds are made except where required by laws and regulations. Each IELTS Academic plan includes Speaking AI feedback (Standard 30, Pro 60, Premium 100 sessions; sessions reset monthly from your application date and do not carry over). Scores are AI estimates, not official IELTS scores.
- Required Charges Other Than the Product Price
- Communication charges for Internet connection. For payments made with a card issued outside Japan, fees of the card company or financial institution and exchange rate differences may be incurred (to be borne by the customer).

- Time of Payment
- At the time of application, the fee for the first period (one month for monthly payment; six months for half-yearly payment; one year for annual payment) is charged. Thereafter, the fee is charged automatically every month (every six months for half-yearly payment; every year for annual payment) on the same day as the date of application. When a change to a higher plan or to a longer payment period is made, the difference for the remaining period is charged at the time of the change.
- Time of Provision of the Service
- After the payment is completed, the Service is available immediately under the plan applied for.
- Contract Period and Automatic Renewal
- The contract is automatically renewed every one month (every six months for half-yearly payment; every one year for annual payment). Unless cancelled, it is automatically renewed at the same fee.
- Cancellation
- You may cancel at any time. Please complete the procedure on the payment management page (Stripe) from "Manage subscription" in My Portal on the website (examplat.com). Cancellation cannot be done from within the Android app. If you cancel before the next renewal date, you will not be charged thereafter. Even after cancellation, you may continue to use the Service until the end of the period for which payment has been made. To change to a lower plan or to a shorter payment period, please cancel and, after the period has ended, apply again.
- Returns and Refunds
- Due to the nature of digital content, fees paid will not be refunded for any reason whatsoever (including where the subscription is cancelled in the middle of a period). However, where a refund is required by laws and regulations, such provisions shall be followed. Where a refund is made, the amount shall be limited to an amount equivalent to the fee for one month of the subscription concerned (one-sixth of the half-yearly fee for half-yearly payment; one-twelfth of the annual fee for annual payment) (except where laws and regulations require a refund exceeding this amount).
